Lolita Bohunenko

Lead Primary Guide

Ms. Lolita embodies the Montessori philosophy with over 8 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Teaching from Ukrainian State University of Foreign Languages, complemented by an AMI Montessori Assistants Certificate for ages 3-6 in Odessa, Ukraine, and a Philosophy of the Montessori Method certification from AMI. Furthering her commitment, she earned a Certification in Education of Montessori Teaching from NMV, Netherlands, and is currently pursuing her AMI Montessori Teaching Diploma from the Washington Montessori Institute.
Ms. Lolita’s educational approach is grounded in profound respect for each child’s individuality and a steadfast belief in their inherent potential. She firmly believes in the transformative power of Montessori methods in nurturing children’s development and sees herself as a guide in their journey of discovery, growth, and understanding of the world.
With a natural talent for understanding children’s needs and fostering their learning, Ms. Lolita began her journey with Manor last summer at our Potomac location.
Motivated by a desire for new experiences, Ms. Lolita is passionate about continuous learning, exploring diverse interests, and traveling to expand her horizons. She treasures moments with her only family here, her husband and cat, finding inner peace and balance through her dedicated Pilates practice.
