Amie Borromeo
Primary Lead Guide
Ms. Amie brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to Montessori education. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science in the Philippines, a Montessori diploma from the North American Montessori Center, Canada, and completed her Infant-Toddler and Early Childhood credentials in the U.S. Additionally, she holds Maryland State Department of Education Teacher Credentials (MSDE)
With over 22 years in Montessori education, including a decade at another Montessori school, Amie has a deep understanding of child development. Her dedication is personal: her daughter and son were educated in Montessori, inspiring her to become a Montessori teacher. This personal experience enriches her teaching approach.
Amie’s teaching style emphasizes hands-on exploration, allowing children to learn at their own pace. She is passionate about fostering independence and natural curiosity in a nurturing environment.
Amie is also a licensed Zumba Instructor. She enjoys, exploring the outdoors, travelling and spending time with family and friends. Her diverse interests and dedication to cultivating a love for learning make her an invaluable asset to our Montessori community.
