Betsy Newman

Mrs. Betsy Newman is a dedicated Montessori teacher with 20+ years of experience.  She is originally from Colombia, South America and is fluent in both Spanish and English. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington Adventist University and a M. Ed. from Loyola University.  Mrs. Newman holds both an AMI Primary Diploma from the Washington Montessori Institute and an AMS Primary Certificate from Montgomery Montessori Institute. Her love of Montessori education began when her own two sons attended a Montessori school when they were young.  She has enjoyed guiding, aiding, and nurturing the development of young children and staying abreast of current research and development practices in early childhood education.
